On April 7, 2024, the National Certification and Accreditation
Administration issued an announcement on the implementation of
compulsory product certification management for commercial gas
burning appliances and other products. Products subject to CCC
certification management this time include commercial gas burning
appliances, flame-retardant wires and cables, electronic toilets,
electric bicycle rider helmets, flammable gas detection and alarm
products, water-based interior wall coatings, explosion-proof lamps
and control devices, etc. The following are the products Describe

Certification implementation time:
Electric bicycle rider helmets, explosion-proof lamps and control
devices:
• Starting from May 1, 2024, designated certification agencies will
begin to accept CCC certification entrustments. The certification
and testing work involved will be undertaken by certification
agencies and laboratories that already have designated business
scopes for motorcycle rider helmets and explosion-proof electrical.
• From May 1, 2025, electric bicycle rider helmets, explosion-proof
lamps and control devices listed in the CCC certification catalog
must be certified by CCC and marked with the CCC certification mark
before they can be shipped, sold, imported or used in other
business activities use.
Commercial gas burning appliances, flame-retardant wires and
cables, electronic toilets, combustible gas detection and alarm
products, water-based interior wall coatings:
• Starting from July 1, 2024, designated certification agencies
will begin to accept CCC certification entrustments. The
certification work involved will be undertaken by certification
agencies that already have designated business scopes for
corresponding product types, and laboratories will be designated
separately.
• Starting from July 1, 2025, commercial gas burning appliances,
flame-retardant wires and cables, electronic toilets, combustible
gas detection and alarm products, and water-based interior wall
coatings listed in the CCC certification catalog must be certified
by CCC and marked with the CCC certification mark , before it can
be shipped, sold, imported or used in other business activities.
